These organizations need your help if they are to succeed in what is sure to be a long and tedious relief effort. For cell phone user, you can donate to the Red Cross by simply texting the word "HAITI" to "90999". A donation of $10 will be automatically charged to your cell phone bill.

You can also text "YELE" to "501501" to donate $5 via your cell phone bill. This donation goes to Yele Haiti, a relief organization that has been quickly organized by music artist Wycleaf Jean.
